Namecheck generally happens in parallel with FP, but (these days) prior to interview.

I believe we sent our applications around the same date. I can see my priority date online right now as 9/5/06 however I have yet to receive the actual receipt and finger printing letter. My application was received on September 1st, right before the long holiday weekend.

Called the number, no one is answering the call, because of weekend, I guess. looks like they don't have an automated answering system.

Wait till you see what others have to go through. Well, they can be fast initially, but then there's the Name Check "black hole" where things fall, and nobody knows where it is.

USCIS aren't bad doing 0-60 in a week, but they can't sustain the speed in the long run.
