If a new immigration law gets enacted, and if the visa numbers triple like rumors say they might, then what would be the expected backlog be reduced to??? Does anyone at all know how many people are in line waiting for their PDs to become current?

Not a CLUE. My guess would be they'd move EB3's for India to late 2003. They didn't move them at all last month, and from the Visa Bulletins, it doesn't look they're planning on moving very quickly. If the new stuff gets enacted, it's anybody's guess !!

If they were to move india to 2003, I would imagine ROW would be moved to 04 or even 05... Nice to dream... Anyone else wanna join the guessing game?

I believe it is something that was hidden in the Senate bill. Most people talked about illegal immigration, but some pointed out that these numbers will increase as well. Some of the people who oppose the idea also mentioned it, saying that it should get more coverage than it did... Do a google news search, look at some of the stories from when it was being talked about, you'll see it.
