There is no dearth of conspiracy theories out there...Here is one more:-
Inspite of 911 and slow down in immigration issue talks with Mexico, there is a growing feeling among the hispanic community that that there is going to be a surprise announcement of granting permanent residency to all illegal aliens or Undocumented Aliens some time in the near future.
Of course during this time one would not want to take the risk of giving a GC to a possible terrorist. Granting GC to only Mexican would be politically tough.
So, what does Chanakya (or Macheavilli) come up with? Deport as much of the non Mexican undocumented people as possible first!
As for the rest of us who are trying to LEGALLY get our GC's - as there are no employer's championing our cause, let them fret it out.
