The phases of this process

There are five phases.
1. Waiting for the 1st approval on our RD month- makes us feel anxious and eager.
2. Approvals 1-50 in Rupnet-still keep our hopes up, checking AVM regularly to see anyday we might be approved.
3. Approvals > 50 - cautiously optimistic to hear whether RFE/Case transferred/Approved. Thanks to checking Case status online thereby, checking the status, everytime someone posts approval here.(very true of me, i don't know about others)
4. close to 100 - Oh! what the heck is going on ? (like in 'Larger than Life' movie. I can't imagine the elephant to be INS) Thinking of other alternatives like 'what if we don't get GC/ any complications like somebody posted as to INS asking for termination letter from previous employer etc.,etc.,each day a new problem/question arising from this forum.
5. There is definitely another phase and the final phase. I do not know how to describe it as I am stuck hard in the 4th phase.

Sorry for my venting.:(

There are five phases.
1. Waiting for the 1st approval on our RD month- makes us feel anxious and eager.

1.1 Questioning the first approval - "Greaty-k there is a XXX approval - is that a mistake. How can that happen"

1.1.1 Second approval - a shadow of doubt passes.. hmmm! maybe, just maybe it is true.

1.1.1.1 Third approval (by a "seasoned" poster of this forum). By GOD It is true! By some miracle INS is still standing and still processing cases and have moved to my RD month - thank the lordy lord

(3 weeks pass)

2. Approvals 1-50 in Rupnet-still keep our hopes up, checking AVM regularly to see anyday we might be approved.

2.1 Checked again today - Not approved yet. Now why did I have to win that second prize at musical chairs when I was 8 years old. I ended up using all my luck that day.. aaahhhhh!!!!

(another 2 weeks pass - INS IIO's still are telling your fellow I-485ers that it is a matter of 6-8 weeks)

3. Approvals > 50 - cautiously optimistic to hear whether RFE/Case transferred/Approved. Thanks to checking Case status online thereby, checking the status, everytime someone posts approval here.(very true of me, i don't know about others)

3.1 Checked today! What! INS website says not approved.. well let me Refresh maybe it will change - oh Man!!!! No change that sucks! well how about refresh now! Nope! Now! Nope!

4. close to 100 - Oh! what the heck is going on ? (like in 'Larger than Life' movie. I can't imagine the elephant to be INS) Thinking of other alternatives like 'what if we don't get GC/ any complications like somebody posted as to INS asking for termination letter from previous employer etc.,etc.,each day a new problem/question arising from this forum.

4.1 Maybe it is my boss - maybe he does want to keep me here (No serious he does. he has kidded with me that he keeps calling his friends at the INS to delay my case) - what if that is true.. Oh god, now why did I work so hard and become so important!!

4.2 What! an audit. What crap audit!!!!! audit for what!!! Damn it is my boss!!!! he is doing this!!!!!

5. There is definitely another phase and the final phase. I do not know how to describe it as I am stuck hard in the 4th phase.

5.1 Me too haven't reached it yet ;)

Sorry for my venting.:(
