Please anyone can have some kind of information or experience about this "
i had an interview for naturalization yesterday11/23/2004 at bcis local office in norfolk virginia,i passed test and i provided all the documents which i was asked,afterwards i have signed some documents which i have given by the immigration officer at the interview.at the end the officer give me an document where she had checked that the decision is not yet made,when i asked her she said she has to look for some thing in the computer and she will send the decision by this week.Is this unusual case or what,please any ideas or experiences like this ever happend to anybody.i appreciate your response.thatnk you
i was asked to provide my daughter birth certificate which i did and the last 3 years federal tax return and the notorise copy from the court about the fine i have paid for the speeding ticket which did happend in 2001.that is all she asked me to provide.

I checked this afternoon my case satus on bcis web site and it shows this:
Case Status
The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.two days ago my case was there and it said it takes between 30 and 60 days to process.is that god news or bad.

It's weird. Sometimes they do hold the decision but I though they atleast give the reason. I have seen that most of the time they are holding because they are waiting for some "A-file" of the person or they are waiting for the background check results.

But atleast they are saying they will send a result by this week which is good. You don't have to wait for some unknown period of time.
 
i am in the same situation my wifes interivew happened in the orlando do, its been 2months and still there is no reply.

May be she wanted to check in database and make sure that your name check is cleared or something. But again not sure since she has given you one week deadline so there may be something else.
How did you get the notarized copy from court about the clearance of speeding ticket. I have one ticket back in 02 and talked to court and they said I need to go in person and go to some storage room in court bldg and request copy by paying 5 bucks but than what about notarized copy ? Would this be enough ??

waht i mean by the notorise is that i asked the clerk of the court to stamp the copy of the record by the court seal to be true copyas original.
 
hi king 1 i am in the same situation i dont what to do,my had the same expierience she passed but a decesion could nt be made. its been 2 months noe
 
the naturalization interview without no decission

Hi Mr Needy :) :confused:

could you tell me what the officer told you after the interview was ended.the officer who gave the interview,she said "everything is fine and we can not take any decission yet beacuse i have to go back to the computer to do some work before any decission can be made,and we will send our decission by this week".

This is a little off topic, but your application seems have been processed pretty quickly. The USCIS website say they're currently working on PD December 11,2003. So hopefully, they're a little ahead of 'schedule'!
My girlfriends brother had a similar problem, but it was because he had applied for a renewal GC during the application process. Once they made sure there were no ill intentions everything went ahead just fine. He only had a to wait a month longer than the rest of his family to take the oath.

How did you get the copy of the record by the court seal about your ticket? Did you requested it from the court or you just kept the original copy after you paid for the ticket?

BTW, was this ticket on your driving record when you applied for US citizenship? Did you get your driving report from the state when you applied?

i went to the court where i have paid the ticket fine and i request the record of that ticket which showed that i have paid the amount of the speed ticket,plus i asked the clerk of the court to stamp the record with the court seal in order to look original and governemnt document.no the speed ticket was already wiped out of my record last year.My record is clean at the moment.

Hi everyone


anybody from virginia suboffice(norfolk) get the oath ceremony letter this december 2004 and with PD:01/2004.

If the ticket is no more on your driving record then how the immigration would
know you have a minor ticket. Is the N400 mention to put traffic violations.
In some states it will be hard to get a proof that you paid for the ticket.
If one wont pay for the ticket then one wont have a DL, normally they take away from you.

How is your case now.

Did you get it the same day immediately or did you have to fill out any kind of form and then wait for them to mail out the record to you ?

What county/state was your court in ?

In my case I have my interview in Dallas TX after 4 days. and I need this proof of ticket .....I have to get it from TX courts. My ticket was paid in Houston but I currently live in Dallas. I hope I dont have to go to Houston to get the proof of ticket paid......:):)...

Waiting for reply from anyone to let me know the exact procedures to get the proof of ticket ....and if it can be obtained the same day from (TX )court....
