The embassy took my passport.

Hello, I was born to a diplomat in the US, and when I tried to renew my passport they found out and took it. I talked to lawyers and they said they were right for doing that. I live I. Egypt, and I still have a birth certificate and a couple of passports as a kid, and also my SSN still works. If I renew on of my old passports at the embassy or at a different embassy, would they find out? This is hypothetical.

They took what passport? Your US passport? And that US passport was based on your birth in the US to non-US diplomats? If yes, you were not eligible to have that passport, and you'll be banned from the US for obtaining and trying to renew a US passport based on a false claim of US citizenship. Every other US embassy in the world will know what you did.

The Embassy does not has the authority to transfer visas issued by other countries. Whenever you renew your passport, your old passport will be canceled and returned with your new, then you should contact the competent authority of the issuing country for further instructions.
