The correct way to know whether a Labor Cert Fits You

here are the details
Item 13 on the ETA 750 (Job desc says).
analysis design and coding of client server applications.
enter program codes. do requirement analysis. work on oracle
related systems and develop code using plsql,sql,pro*c.
work in financial applications.develop code using c++, java and asp.

Item 14 says (Education required)
Bachelors in comp sc and 6 monthe experience as a software enginner.

Item 15 says (Other special req.)
BLANK

Now my lawyer said that it is Item 14 and 15 that matter the most .so i have a BE in comp sc and 6 mths exp
before the labor was filed. so it should match.
my concern was that i dont have experience in c++, java and asp. my resume is primarily on oracle.
he said item 14 and item 15 define the mimimun things you need for the job, so if u have that its a winnable case.

if you dont have c++ and java then you may not qualify. this is quite tricky. adjudicating officers do not know what is sql or java or any technical stuff. they go by the wordings. who knows they may search for particular skill term in your resume and if does not match they may send rfe or disqualify.

thats the reason its better to work for good and well experienced law firm irrespective of the fees. item 13 seems to be too straigh forward and have no restrictive clause. lawyer could have coined the wording carefully to make it generic. if it says something like "additional plus skills would be to develop code using one or more of c++, java and/or asp", then you may have the chance.

for subsitution cases they go by every working. atleast its good that you are already analyzing prior to filing.

he says i should have the minimu education and experience listed in item 14.
the minimimum experience in 14 is 6 mths as software engineer. it does not say i need to know c++, java etc . so he says item 13 is what you will be doing at the job the labor doesnt require that u know all the things in item 13 (which is the job desc). he says u should have everything listed on item 14 which is the requirements for the job and item 14 doesnt say that i need to know c++, java . it just says i need to have 6 mths exp as software engineer
