Has NSC stopped approving old I-485 cases applied before apr 30th ???

Are they making final changes to start working on concurrently approving I-485 and I-140 for those who filed after Apr 30th, those who applied with fees increase ?

It seems there are no I-485 approvals so far for this week !! Of course, still 3 days to go for this week..
 
Relax. It is only the 140 production line which will be involved in this pilot project. The rest of the 485 crew will continue to adjudicate 02 apps.
 
It seems that only few people were approved on rupnet.com these days, I don't know it is rupnet log in problem or NSC slows down again. But any way I have not heard any positive news since the end of last month.
 
I thought the pilot project is implemented by only California Service Center. Is that correct?

In nebraska, they are planning to finish 2002 cases in next 4-5 months, and then they will work on 2003 cases.

Is my assumption correct?
 
Nebraska has a program of approving I-485 for those who applied I-140 and I-485 concurrently after Apr 30..

Your statement is true only if CIS able to

* send Recepit notice as soon as it reaches NSC.
* complete name check within 24 hours
* send FP within 24 hours and complete it within 24 hours.

If none of the above is feasible, all officer should start adjucating more pending I485 applications instead of just I140. I think, they have merged both I140 team and I485 together.

What is concurrent Filer appoval?

Hi,

I keep hearing that concurrent filer will get approval soon? Can somebody enlighten me with this? Mine is also concurrent. My case is Feb 2003.
