Thanks

Your USC spouse must file an Affidavit of Support even though you are on H1-B and presently earning an income of your own.

Thanks,

I think it should be the one saying "immigrant visa is readily available to me" or something like that (don't remember exactly :( )

it's not available yet

Sorry George but one last question. I am filing i-130 along with 1-485 as my wife is USC, in this case my application is not yet approved and so visa # is not yet available to me, please suggest

In part 2, check option a)an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has been approved. (Atttach a copy of the approval notice-- or a relative, special immigrant juvenile or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately
available visa number, if approved.)

You are filing a visa petition with this applicaiton that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.

Response to Sandeep's query

For the eligibility on h., you could write: Married to a US citizen. When I applied for my mother's green card, I wrote: Parent of a US citizen. You could stop in at the local INS office. They are very helpful. That's what I did.

You shoud still have checked a) but I don't think it is a big deal. The language is not that clear even if English is one's first language.
