Guys,
Thats it!! I used this site for almost 1 year waiting for my labor certification. DOL first asked for more information on my company\'s layoffs and keep my file in pending, then issued NOF and at last today I got the following from my layer...."On November 27, we have been advised that the DOL had remanded your application back to the state employment agency for additional recruitment pursuant to DOL guidelines". I think this is end of my dream for the time being and so I will stop checking this site soon. I will open this site to read about some "consolation" and "berevement(?) messages" that I think some of you will write generously to me.........

Really sorry to hear that, Nayan.

The fate of my LC would probably end up the same as yours as my employer had layoffs before and after filing my LC application. It has been sitting at MA SESA for almost 6 mos. I am not holding any hope at the moment.

Nayan,
Just take it easy, don\'t give up with your dream, whatever it is. Who knows what will come to their mind next day (month, year), they can easily change regulations and you become most appropriate candidate to apply for GC. I wish it to you and if you don\'t give up your dream you are going to get it.

Well cant u now aply for rir conversion . talk to ur lawyer. Further u can file another rir labor from another state if ur company has a office there. Make sure ur fedral office is not the same and u will be fine. you can also file a labor from another company . I m not very sure off these suggestions , please check out with a FEW lawyers and see what they say . by the which is the state ur labor files in.

If you have enough time on H1 just change your job fast to a small company, I finished my whole GC in 1.5 years, because in a small company you are the no.1 priority also there are not any layoffs.

best of luck.
