Texas senators on immigration

Anyone contacted Texas senators (Cornyn/Hutchinson) on 485 cases ? Are they responsive and look into the case ?

I have contacted one of them, but no response yet. But at the same time I contacted Congress man too, his office did respond but not helpful.

Senator John Cornyn

Guys,
I have contacted Senator John Cornyn with regard to my I130. The person to talk to in that office is Jane Loomis. I gave them a written request, to which I promptly (within 2 days) got a response saying they have contacted BCIS and will let me know when they recieve some info.
I waited for 2wks and contacted them. The response was that they would like to give BCIS 30 days to respond to an inquiry.
Luckily my 485 got approved after that, so I didn't have to contact them again.

I contacted Sen. Kay Hutchison's office late last week. It is too early to tell how responsive they are, but the person who attended the phone was quite courteous. She asked me to wait for a week to hear back from their immigration caseworker who will handle my request.
