Temporary EAD from local labor dept

Hello,


I know that if my EAD is not approved in 90 days I can get a temp EAD from local labor dept.
Dose anyone know if albo dept in Chicago dose this and how to contact them.

Since Nov 22nd..I Heard and read on this forum that Local INS does not issue any interim EAD(even after 90 days). DO a good research if u r counting on that...and also..It does not harm if you give it a shot.
..u can get the contact info of chicago INS on the Ins website....

Don't count on local ins to issue temporary EAD cards. You are better of filingit with Nebraska at least 90-120 days prior to expiry date and if it does not show up a few weeks prior to the expiry date then take a trip down to local office.
Here in minneapolis , they are issuing it till end of december after that you will have to apply at Nebraska only. I am thinking all other local offices would also follow them
