I need your opinions on moving outside the US for a two year assignment for a non-US employer. This will be a two year contract, and will likely happen after our fingerprinting but before the interview. Is it possible to continue the naturalization process by visiting the US within six months (to ensure there is no trip longer than six months). We (my wife and I) have plenty of time available with regard to the 2.5 out of 5.0 years requirement.
Will it be necessary to maintain a residence in the US (i.e. small apartment)?
I'll appreciate any experiences or suggestions that you can share.
