Hi,
I am over 3yrs in the US on a DV visa, and aiming to apply for citizenship once I am here 5. My question is - If I get a 1year visa for Canada now, would it affect my continuous residence IF the trip is less than six months? I only intend on doing a working holiday there for the coming winter, so I understand it fall under the <six months rule, but its still a one year visa in my passport. Thoughts? Thanks in advance

You can be outside of the U.S. for up to 6 months in order to not affect the continuous residence. Congrats on your DV selection
