Tell me what will happen if two senators are contacted

Hello friends:

I have a question. I contacted two senators about my INS interview.
Today, I received a letter from INS district officer that he will
respond one of the senators query by October 17, 2000. Mean time,
another senator has also inquired on my behalf. I have a couple
of questions:
1) Do you think INS will call me for the interview before that date?
2) Do you think INS will make a response by that time, which may
likely to delay my case further?
3) What is the effect of another senator now?

I will very much appreciate if anyone could enlighten or has the
similar experience?

I guess I\'ve the same question. also in addition, could someone tell what all do the senator/congressman\'s office require from us in order to work for the case. Also, how to find who is my area senator/congressman?
