Friends,
I have a request, do anyone of you happen to know, how to call directly Texas Service Center instead of the National Customer Service. My I-485 notice date is March 2, 2003, did finger printing twice, last was on March 2, 2005. Called FBI and they said finger printing was cleared on that day itself. They said Name Check is done in Washington, D.C. and that might take long.
However, I see people in concurrent cases those who submitted in 2004 getting approved sooner. My case is not con-current, but the old fashioned way. My case is very clear, never changed job for last 7 years and is with the same company, the company is very stable financially. Never left the country also.
It bothers me so much, why such thing takes so long. It seems luck is the essence of this game. My attorney will make a request after 60 days from my last finger-printing, as nothing is updated in the online message. Does, USCIS really take actions or this is another request, lets put it aside. Its really perplexing and a feeling of hopelessness creeps in.
