Telephone Number to direct calling Texas Service Center

Friends,

I have a request, do anyone of you happen to know, how to call directly Texas Service Center instead of the National Customer Service. My I-485 notice date is March 2, 2003, did finger printing twice, last was on March 2, 2005. Called FBI and they said finger printing was cleared on that day itself. They said Name Check is done in Washington, D.C. and that might take long.
However, I see people in concurrent cases those who submitted in 2004 getting approved sooner. My case is not con-current, but the old fashioned way. My case is very clear, never changed job for last 7 years and is with the same company, the company is very stable financially. Never left the country also.
It bothers me so much, why such thing takes so long. It seems luck is the essence of this game. My attorney will make a request after 60 days from my last finger-printing, as nothing is updated in the online message. Does, USCIS really take actions or this is another request, lets put it aside. Its really perplexing and a feeling of hopelessness creeps in.

Hi

To my knowledge there is no other tele number, otherwise we would all use it

I am in a simular position as you

I did my second set of FP on 8th March and no LUD on file.

What date is on your I 485 receipt date? If it is past 30days you can do a case status enquiry through congressman

call Texas Service Center directly

:) I have tried several times and it has worked!
call 1-800-375-5283
select English option
Then press option 2 to inquire about pending case
then enter option 6
option 1 is pressed after if to enter receipt number
after message of case status press 3 to continue
then press option 4 which says it is in case you filed related family cases and you believe they were separated, don't worry. after a few moments you will be transferred to Texas Sevice center automatically and directly .They will again ask you for Receipt # or alien number. If you give Alien# make sure they look at the right case since it will pop-up in their screen all cases related to your A#/.You better do this between 1 and 3 pm. I have tried at other hours of the day and it has failed. Good luck!

A couple of things to note. If you use that option and do not really have a separated case (ie. you start going on about something totally different) the USCIS officer might get really nasty with you. (I've heard of this happening).

Secondly, again as above, if you use the separated number to call them directly and then go on about something entirely different, they may just decide to do away with that option. Thereby ruining it for the people that really have a separated case.

Just my 2 cents.

Regards

Rav
