TD Visa satus

Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen. My wife is a permanent resident of Canada. She already visited US on B2 (visit visa) status which is valid for 10 years. I recently got a job offer from US. I know I can apply for TN visa at the port of entry. My question is:
Can my wife fly with me and apply for the TD visa status at the port of entry while I will apply for TN visa? Or she will have to wait until I get the TN visa and then apply few days later in a US consulate in Canada?

Since your wife is not a Canadian citizen, she will have to get a TD visa stamped on her passport from a US consulate outside of US. This is what you'll need to do:

1. You go to a US port of entry to apply for your TN.
2. If you get your TN successfully, book a TD visa appointment at the US consulate that has jurisdiction of where your wife lives.
3. Your wife takes all the necessary documents to the consulate to get her TD visa.
4. After the visa is issued, she can move to US to join you. When entering US, make sure she has a copy of your TN I-94 card.
