TD visa in Japan

Hi,

My wife is a Japanese citizen and needs to apply for a TD visa at a U.S. Consulate in Japan.

I visited the consulates website and began preparing an online application, but could not find a "TD Visa" to select in the application.

Anybody have any idea how you actually apply for a TD visa in Japan?

Answer

I'll provide the answer to my own question.

If you apply online, at first there is no option for a TD visa application. However, you can choose any application. For example, I chose an E (treaty) application. Then, once you start working through the details of the visa application, there is a drop-down menu which allows you to select the application as a spouse visa for a TN visa holder.
