When i take the PPD test (skin test), should i take a new X Ray's as well (I'm sure it will show positive). My medical exams was done last june (June 28th 2006). any comments welcome.

If skin test is positive your doctor will order chest rays right then.
Was your skin test positive? Under 8mm is considered negative. Over 10mm they are required to notify County.
Mine was 15mm (which I think is because BCG in the childhood).
X-Rays were negative.
Doctor sent me to county, where they draw more blood for QuantiFERON test.
Will know results in 48 hours.

Hey WaitingforAges:
I've replied to you in the other thread with my comments.

btw, how did you find out that when your name check was applied and when it was cleared?

Husband just recvd email about RFE. We dont know the specifics yet but am wondering if it is related to TB skin test. At the time of medicals back in Dec 2004, the doctor only did the chest x-ray.Skipped TB skin test. That seemed ok as per USCIS at the time.
Am wondering if that could be the reason for the RFE. Is TSC now expecting TB skin tests to be included? Please let me know. Thanks for all your help in advance.

Possibly Yes, because when i went to the docotor for the second time, he mentioned that they use to skip PPD test in the past if any onbe says that they had BCG in the past and also he mentioned that they are getting a lot of RFE's for the same recently, it is better to take it on the first place rather than wait and get an RFE. anyway one more lesson learnt.
