As far as carrying tax transcripts are concerned , will a copy of the last three years tax returns do ?

If there is no alternative then I would think the tax filing copies may work.
But knowing how simple it is to get the tax transcripts why would you not
try for them?. The information in the transcripts is easier to read through and
understand for the consulate personnel.

Look in the forum for the IRS # and give them a call. They will normally arrive in 10 days.

I concur with Raju above.

This one of the issues not worth spending your time thinkign on. Just get it done and put a check mark in your to-do list.
