Tax Transcript question ? (N-400)

Registered Users (C)
Immigration Guide Document check list says,

4. Documents referring to you and your spouse:
a. Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages or birth certificates of children, OR

b. IRS -Certified copies of income tax forms that you both filed for the past 3 years, OR

c. An IRS Tax return transcript for the last 3 years.

Now, its not neccessary to send all 3 (a,b,c) right ?
Because it says one or the other. Can someone confirm this.

Also has anyone NOT sent tax transcirpts ?

If they wanted all 3 they would say "AND" not "OR"

If docs are missing from ur application they will ask you to bring it to the interview as thats the only time someone will read all this

Letter 1722 (which can list current year + 3 previous years of transcripts) should be adequate. This letter can be obtained by calling IRS, and requesting customer service for letter 1722 for tax years 2002,2001, 2000 and 1999.

However, it doesn't hurt to carry as much documentation as required including utility bills, pay stubs, bank accounts, leases, mortgages, birth certificates of children etc.

You can't fail an interview for having extra documentation-but lack of documentation may delay the process.

ak500,

I was giving you honest answers to your questions and yes your poll was a lousy idea, and you just proved your level of maturity & decency with this most recent post. What a waste of internet bandwidth!

I was not addressing any posts to you, I was specifically addressing it to Rahul Kumar. So I dont know what is your problem.

When silly ideas float around, it is natural to dispel it with wisdom.. JoeF's concern ('problem' in your vocabulary) is that you are a boorish & arrogant juvenile who needs a "Dealing with People 101" lesson

Is your Presumptive ,adolescent, immature nature an acquired skill or is it a facet of your habitat or is it just your state of mind?
