Tax Returns Job Title

I recieved RFE last week and they are asking for my tax returns. However, the job title in the tax returns say "Software Engineer" where as my Employer says I am "XXXX Engineer" and not a software engineer. Does the job title in the tax forms matter? Please reply.

Does not matter at all. You company job title is more specific to your profession, unlike "occupation" in your tax return (I write just "engineer").
