If the spouse of the USC who is been out of status has not filed taxes, for more than 3 years. So when the USC files I-485/I-130 and it asks for the tax return information for last three years, would it cause any problems. If so, how many years should be filed before sponsoring to be on a safe side. I know technically you suppose to file every year but people who are out of status usually skip filing taxes.
