Tax Returns for Consular Process

My freind has GC Interview at Chennai Consulate on April 29.

He is preparing for his papers. Last two years he has filed Tax Returns using H&R Block tax return software on internet. he has copy of returns but he doesnt have copy of W-2 for 99 and 2000.

Is this going to be any problem? what is alternative?

It is not a req. document

It is not a req. document for the interview.
If they ask, simply show the Fed. return. and prev. paystubs.

Not a mandatory req, but better to have all the papers when U are heading to Chennai consulate

Tax Return Transcripts

Hey,
  You can obtain the tax return transcripts from an IRS office. These should not only substitute the missing papers but also explain them that the IRS has processed your taxes.
