Tax Return transcript W2s

Hi all,
As like so man folks here, I got the letter from USCIS requesting the tax forms from IRS.
my question is:
although we might missed something in the tax return or something wasn't clear, 1- so the USCIS is requesting the official return transcript. this is ok
2- they still asking for W2s and 1099s which we submitted copies.
3- proof of employment which we submitted also.

I'm wondering why the USCIS still wanting us to submit the last 2 points above?
are they asking us to start over by submitting all these documents together?

Thank you
Eric

Are they asking either W-2/1099 or IRS transcripts or both?

Well, I'd submit whatever they are asking for. Don't try to second guess the USCIS. Let them figure out what they need and don't need, as long as you can easily produce the documents ... :)

As I said, we might miss submitting something in point 1, but for sure we submitted point 2 & 3.
why do they still asking for the docs in point 2 & 3?
I'm asking because if they don't like them, I need to find away what do they really want.
example the proof of employment, we just ask the employer to add more phrases to the one we have submitted to make it look better, I don't know what else I should do.
they suppose to ask for the missing docs only, am i right?
or they just want everything all over?

Thanks

Hey GeneralG,
I had gotten the same thing, and like you, only 1 of those applied to me. I think if they dont find one thing from that list, they ask for all of it again (just my opinion, dont know for sure).
I would just send all of it again, including the official transcript.

In my case, the RFE was for the joint-sponsor's tax information, and at the interview, the IO said that I did not even need that for my application, and wrote "not needed" or something like that on those papers.

is this the interview letter, if it is, it have the clause that "unless submitted earlier or previously." did your petitioner make enough to support you or above the poverty line during the recent years?
also, adding more sentences to your employment letter would not change anything. the letter should simply state that this person is employed at this company for a certain period of time and making such and such of money.
i would say just submit what they are asking you. plus, if you are missing something add other documents such as you can add pay stubs. if you cant, hope for the best.

is this the interview letter,
No, this is the first submission of the change of status and work permit and AP and all other documents.

Now another question, in the letter that they sent me with the instructions of sending the tax transcript from the IRS and work permit and all that, they mentioned this:

you are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(b)(10)(ii) until ninety(90) days after the missing initial evidence is received.

How serious is that? And what should I do about it? does anybody got the same message before?
Technically I have 106 days left for my current TN visa before I need to start my EAD or my work permit. is the EAD same as the interim employment authorization?

Any idea?
Thanks

Hi everyone, I guess I’m going to answer myself and everyone has the same issue of missing documents.

Ok this is not from anybody, I CALLED the immigration themselves, and here is the answer:

1- you should submit everything that is requested even one of them only was missing ( as everyone here figured)
2- the 90 days notice means, I can’t apply for a work permit until I submit the missing documents and I get an answer of there is no documents required anymore or I don’t hear anything bad again, now if I don’t reply with these missing docs for 90 days then they will close my case and deny my application.

That is all, they are very helpful and very understanding, I suggest everyone has a special issue and no one can help here or they want a clear answer, they should call the immigration.
