So my friend from work recently received their work permit and social while he waits for the decision for political asylum. He has his w2 but used a made up social last year. He was also advised not to get a itin number because it will interrupt his case with immigration. He was told today by an accountant that he may not receive his tax return if he decides to file. So hes stuck or at least thinks he is, is there truth to this?
