Hi
My mom has 10 year multiple entry Visitor's Visa.
She is coming to US from India via British Airways next month

Does she require a Transit Visa since she needs to change her flight in London

Any inputs appreciated?

Thanks

Indian passport holders will require a transit visa unless they carry a diplomatic passport. For further information contact the British Embassy/consulate.

This is incorrect. Transit visa is exempt if the passenger holds a valid US /Canadian visa and is travelling to US/Canada transiting thru London.
Please check the website:
http://www.britainusa.com/visas/yestransit.asp

Read the exemption list item #1.

For transit through Britain, does anyone know if EAD/AP are considered visa ?

Nowhere in the site britainusa.com is acceptance of EAD/AP as a valid visa document mentioned.

Anybody with firsthand experienc, please respond.

Thanks
