Hi,

After waiting for 20 minutes I was able to talk to an immigration officer reagrding my I-485 EB3 RD sept 20,1999 ND Oct 4 1999, she was pretty couteous and told me that they have sent my case to fingerprint department and I should be receiving FP notice withing 1-2 weeks.

I hope it helps those who are waiting for FP notice in sept-oct 1999 timeframe.

Hi Satyender,

Did you happen to ask about the modus-operandi of VSC pertaining to
OCT,99 applications? They indicated previously that they would issue
the FP notice, just before adjudicating the application (that is after making sure that everything is fine with the application)...
are they going to follow that route? or, are they going to put the application in cold storage (HOPE NOT!) for a couple of months after sending the FP notice? (this was the way they used to do things before...send a FP notice...and pick up the application after a couple of months)
