Just talked with IIO she mentioned that currently they are working on cases that recieved till August 1st ... Mine they recieved it on August 2nd. She told they were working on cases till August 1st for past 2 months.

Hopefully by the end of this month my case has to be taken up for review.

My RD: August 5th
   ND : Sept 25

Hmmmmmm..... I just spoke to an IIO and she said they are processing AUG 3, 2001 from today;

My freind got approved and his RD is August 4th and ND is Sept 21st. So, I don\'t know what is true.
 
It is in blocks of 8 weeks

When cases are assigned to an officer, they are given as packets of say 100 applications. All depends on where in the stack is your application.
The typical window is 8 weeks for one such stack. That is why we see lot of variations in ADs.

I have heard a similar explanation from the immigration guy in my office.
 
Yes, That\'s what explained by IIO (Not in exact words) Read below.

IIO told that they are doing Aug cases (ND) and my case will be taken up by end June and will be allocated to officers. Officers take close to 8 weeks to complete the alloted cases. Your\'s will be decided anytime in that period.
I talked couple of weeks ago.
