I called NSC again this week. This time they did not give me security and namecheck status on the phone and asked me to open a service request. Also she said that she will not give me any case specific information on phone if it recently became current in June.

She said that all pre-adjudicated cases will be processed in 120 days.

If there is no decision on my case for 120 days then I should call them.

I asked her if they will process by PD or RD and she said they will process accoring to the RD which is the date that NSC received the I-485 application and not by PD. She said that RD is the date they provide when they give out the Center Case Processing Times.
 
Ha ha

I got same lady she won't answer anything. she will even tell you how to go and request service request. which number and which options.

I almost called daily for a week. now I am not going to call anymore. will raise service request on monday.

actually on June 7th, I was able to get all the info from the telephone (namecheck, preadjudication etc.). after that I have spoken with other representatives and they all r not disclosing any information. I did open a service request but I think that will only tell me that the case is waiting to be assigned to an office.

will they really complete processing in 120 days? ur guess is as good as mine.
 
just spoke to nsc.they said that they r right now processing pending cases who received RFE last year around the time of july 13 till aug 13 and that those people r in que now and should be receiving decisions in next 4 weeks ,coz they have this 4 week window.does it make any sense?
 
hmmmm I received my RFE on July 3rd and replied back . What about my case? It doesn't fall under july13th to Aug 13th dates.

How many RFEs they sent between July 13th to Aug 13th that it would take 4 weeks to process htem.

I got RFE in July 2005. God knows when they will process 2005 RFE cases ***sigh****
 
Same here

Me too got an RFE back in July 2005. I am in a state of Depression given the NSC Processing times.

did anyone received RFE last year around Jul/Aug and name check/ Security check still pending? According to NSC they were Preadjudicating all cases .

They sent RFE to only those whos name check & sec were cleared or they sent RFE to everyone where document was missing or more evidence was required?
