Talked to NSC IIO about RFE case.

I called up NSC IIO yesterday. The lady was very nice and polite. I asked her the status of my case.
PD: August 97(India EB3)
RD: September 99
ND: October 99
FP: July 2000
RFE: February 8th
RFE Response Mailed: February 21st
RFE Recieved by INS: February 23rd
AD: Waiting

She said that this case is with the officer. I asked her if she is sure that the case is with some officer. She said if the case was not assigned to any officer then I should not have recieved any RFE.
I asked for any guesses on some decision on my case. She said may be in couple of weeks.

I don\'t know how far it is going to be true as there are lot of RFE applicants still waiting to get final approval. Any inputs or insights into this?

Note: My guess is to get through NSC lines you need to call around 10 to 11:00 am continuously for 5 minutes to get through. But after that you have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. This is my personal experience twice. I tried at different times but never got through but yesterday I called at this time and was connected in 5 minutes.
