Talked to IO, should I believe her? Gurus..

Talked to IO at TSC, got connected after 20 minutes wait.
She asked for my case number.
She confirmed my name & address (Did not ask me, she confirmed from the screen she was looking at )
'Your case is with IO now..officer is looking at it.wait for 30 days before next inquiry.'
She hung up.
Did not let me ask even single question.
There are no LUDs on my case.
If IO picks up your case, is there LUD change?

I don't think there will be LUD change after speaking to IO.

I so desperately wants to believe IO and you....I hope what you said comes true.
I know I filed my I485 recently due to retro..but it has been long journey from June 2001.

Sorry dont want to discourage you. I recvd same reply, same sort of time on hold during call etc. some time in April 2007. Result: Still waiting. Actually was told my cvase in adjudictaion section so I should get a reply within 30days.

So I asked my wife to call them and confrim first lady's reply (okay we used POJ method to get to TSC IO, not usual agents) and gues what I or my wife was told that my NC still not complete.

Called myself again 2nd day: NC still incomplete.

Called after 1 month: NC still incomplete.

So I think the first person was fooling around.

Cant trust their reply.

Still I wish it is true for you.

guys do they respond if we call?as of now processing dates show oct 27th 2006.you guys have your R.D's with 2007 date.do they answer?which country and category are you?

I think i talked to the very same IO this morning... she asked for RD number, address.. then told me to wait 30 - 60 days. then she hung up so fast i didn't have a chance to ask any other questions.
 
Haha...looks like I too talked to the same woman. She said NC pending and hung up immediately.
 
I probably talked to the same IO today (08/21). She confirmed my address by reading from the screen by herself and then told me that my 'namecheck' is not clear and unless it is cleared nothing can be done. She asked me to wait for 30-60 days.

They go NOT only with RD, but RD and PD combo, cases with oldest PD's & Oldest RD's gets picked up.
So if somebody files in Jun 2007 with PD of 1998, this case will be picked up first.

BTW I am EB3 - IN.
 
IN my case the RD is aug 2005. WHIle for the guy who started this thread. his Labor date decides his PD.

Today I called TSC poj method,after half an hour lady pick the phone.She asked me EAC number,she said "we are going to sent Fp notice "and hang up the phone.I did not ask any thing.My online status is same pending at which it was transefered.See my signature mine was old PD.
 
my p.d is 2002,but r.d is 2006 nov.i called last month and they said my r.d has to be within processing time of the service centre to ask any queries.
any suggestions?should i call?i am eb-2 category.
 
TSC IOs are not giving correct info.

Hi,

Today's IO is giving FALSE info. to every one.

I called up in the morning and was told that the second FP I gave in May this year needs to redone since results are not uploaded. She said I should go to the ASC I gave my finger prints earlier without FP letter and request them to retake my prints. This was the second time in last 2 weeks I was told so.
I got worried, went to the ASC , took half a day off. Told them the service center person has sent me, they checked infront of me that my FP2 were correctly sent back via FBI to USCIS and every thing is good . They did not take my FP again today.

Also, I had my appointment for today with IO as well. That IO also confirmed that my second FP results were good and uploaded and were fine.

So the TSC people are NOT giving true info. to people.
 
What a mess !! The only source of information (TSC) is also not telling the truth. Rather than saying wrong things they could you have just said not to call.
