I called NSC several times in the previous weeks, but the IO always refused to tell me anything about my case. Today, I got a nice lady in NSC and she told me that my NC was done. But she could not tell me if my case was assigned a visa number or not. She told me I should wait at least 30 days to call them again if nothing happens. She said probably I have to wait until Oct to get visa number. :(

Another thing bothers me is that the priority date column is empty on my I485 receiving notice. My PD is 08/25/2003, and I'm concurrent filling and the I485 RD is 10/06/2006. The PD is correct on my I140 approve notice. When I ask, the lady in NSC said, my PD automatcially became the I485 RD if my I485 receiving notice PD column is empty. :mad: :mad: Is this true? Anybody has the same problem? Is there anywayI can do to correct this? :(
 
She is wrong ... As far as I can remember PD came only in the 140 approval notice.
The 485 receipt notice PD is blank.

Your PD is OK if the 140 approval notice PD is correct.
 
This may be the answer of day at NSC today. I also got similar reply name check competed but mine is under EXTENDED REVIEW.

I used to check I-140 to verify for my PD. But I am thinking your attorney can send it to fix this as you have the right priority date on I-140.

I have a friend (we applied together) with the same PD as mine but his I-140 got wrong PD on it (they put the current date). Our attorney fixed this matter.
 
so far known to me max2k1 is very right and that IO is wrong. The PD is always mentioned on I-140 approval notice not in I-485 . You are lucky your NC is clear.

Don't worry Mr.bluefireball .Even had blank PD on my receipt notice.As soon as saw your information sent an email to my attorney to confirm that.He clearly said it will not have an impact on your I-485 processing.

I talk to IO at NSC today. I was told my case is in staging area. Looks like I will have to wait some more time before it assigned to officer. I asked if visa number is assigned to my case. No direct asnwer like yes or no. May be october is the time for me to get approved.
