Talked to a nice lady today. She first asked for my receipt number, and my name and DOB, then said that my case is waiting for a visa number. I specifically asked whether my case is assigned to an officer. She repeated what she talked me before. Asked me to call back in 30 days if nothing happens. Not sure how promising it is for me.

I don't understand how they are matching the visa numbers.

Looks like the standard answer for today from NSC
. Try another day and see if you get more information. I don't get, what "Matching Visa Number" means . It's like matching your underwear size to the available ones
