Hi i spoke to an iio this afternoon. She says that they are doing Nov 2000 cases. My case may take another year and i may have to go for 2nd FP. When i told her that people who filed later are getting approved she said that may be they are lucky.
I do not know what to expect. Even thouogh i filed Change of address in Dec 02 it was not in the system So i gave the iio change of address.
Please people pray for me. Thanks.

vzexemp - Your approval will be close (to 15 months of FP), but it will happen soon. Lately, we have seen 2002 FPers getting their AD.

Keep checking the AVM (after 10 PM once a week) instead of Online. Online doesn't seem to update as often as AVM.

1st FP: 2/02 (unclassifiable)
2nd FP: 11/02 (lost by INS. INS insists that they did not receive anything from FBI. How come!)
3rd FP: 1/2/03
Waiting for approval. The principal applicant was approved ten months ago.

Did you talk ot FBI..whether they have sent it to INS or not...

I did my FP 21st of Feb'03.. but no avm nor online changed...

Kind of worried.. whether everything is okay....
 
Case status not updated

I did my FP on Jan 8 and AVM / Online were updated in a couple of days.

However, my wife / daughter did their FP over 4 weeks ago but their AVM has still note been updated. I did call FBI and they confirmed FP being sent to INS.

It is possible INS has either stopped updating FPs are as we heard, some of these cases are being transferred to other Centers.

Last year immediately after fp we called FBI and was told the results were sent to INS the very next day. But for my spouse there was a problem and we got fped again on apr 2nd 2002 and results were sent back by FBI on apr 3,02.
The AVM and website say the same thing that appln. was received on apr3 2001 and it takes 725-775 days for a decision. In the meantime we are in our 3rd ead/ap stage.

According to our lawer we cannot do anything just sit around and worry.

Hi Guys,

After a waiting for almost month or so I was just able to contact IIO about my wife's FP whose status was not upated even after 6 weeks or so (mine was updated within 10 days or so). I 've got the expected answer "Finger Prints were Rejected, b'cos they were un-classifiable -- some thing that kind". The reason why expected this result was the ASC folk took almost 5-6 times of my wife's FP due to their non-readable and also they were not confident in the last time too.

BTW, the IIO told me that she is going to reorder and we may recieve them within 4 - 6 weeks, until then we need to keep our fingers crossed. So, guys please contact them ASAP if your FP status was not updated within 2 weeks or so and by chance if your FPs are not good then you will get a chance to get re-order them without wasting much time.

Online status not updated yet????????

Hi Guys
I did my FP on feb 19th. AVM is updated and say that On MMarch 7th we recieved fp results and processing have resumed. We will notify you of our decision. Any body knows whats going on?

But online status ---no change

It still says, we recieved you application on March 25th 2002 and it takes 725 days to 775 days.....blah...blah...blah
 
FBI sent FP result to INS in Dec and Jan respectively

for my 2nd and 3rd FP. I contacted IIO in Feb. and was told that everything is perfect.
I don't think FP update in AVM or online is critical because my wife (principal applicant) did FP in Feb. last year and her status was never changed until approval. As long as the IIO told you that they have received your FP, it is OK.
