Got an RFE for my EAD per AVM. Since my lawyer has not yet received the Receipt Notice, I decided to call INS. (ND 4/12/01, PD 8/96). The rep told me that I have a long wait since they were processing 98 cases.

She was very cordial, but could not give me RFE details. Said that the screen only shows RFE being sent not its contents. I will have to wait for the notice. Hopefully, the lawyer gets this one.

Ciba, does this mean that I can no longer get an interim EAD?

Dont knwo about EAD,
but received the RFE for my AP.
Reason was, photographs were misplaced.

Anyone know how long does INS take to send the AP approval after they receive the photographs.

 Iam also in the same boat as you are...got an RFE for EAD
 My AVM isn\'t updated but when i called the IIO, they told me
 that there was an RFE and since the mailroom is clogged, it could
 take about 2 months for the RFE to go out....

 my ND 04/19/01...

 Iam close to my 90 days and wondering if i could get an interim
 card at the local INS office ??..

RFE for AP and EAD are usually very simple. Don\'t
worry too much about it.

You can still get an interim EAD. You just have
to try.
