Three weeks ago I talked to IIO and response was that the file has been assigned to Supervisor. Last week when I called again then the response was the file has been assigned to Examiner.

Also I was reading some of the posts in the portal and a lof people said that "the file has been assigned to an officer".

Does any body knows the difference between an officer, Supervisor and Examiner?
Are they all same?

My case is very old: PD - July 97, I-485 ND - Oct 99.

Officer and Examiners mean the same... When they say that your case is assigned to an Examiner/Officer, you are one step close to the approval... It should be approved within two weeks to six months...

Process is basically migration from intake service to warehouse to adjudication facility to supervisor to Examiner...
