I just talked to IIO about my case seeing so many October approvals.

IIO said my case was \'pending\'.
I asked whether pending means assigned to an officer? She answered yes, the case is under review but no decision has been made yet. I asked her how long do you think the wait would be? She mentioned 30 days.

question for kannancr,

what do they mean by case under review. in my case my reply to rfe was recieved by vsc and when i called yesterday they told me that my case is under review and that i will hear from them within 30 days. in cases like these when they say case under review and approval within 30 days how long do you think it takes to be approved especially when it comes to rfe recieved.

 In my case I called VSC after they received my RFE. IIO Said I will hear the decision in 30 to 40 days. But within a week I got approved. By this week or next week also you might get approved. Reviewed means it is with an officer.
