Last week when I talked to IIO at vermont, she said our rfe response was sent to the officer on the sameday itself i.e on nov 15.and it takes about 15 to 30 days.AVM message changed the same day and still it is not approved. Does she mean it was sent to local INS? can any body got same type of answer?

I got a very similiiar response
from the IIO.

My RD/ND 07/99 and 08/09/99
RFE: Nov 2nd -00, IIO said they received my response on 20thNov and sent it to the officer on 21stNov.

Nothing yet.

If they send it to local INS then according to the INS Support centre it will take another 16 months to process????????? Is it true?
Because when I called INS support 1-800 number from ins.usdoj.gov she told me the same.

I dont think it means sent to local INS.

The IIO told me it is sent to the officer. I think it means that officer who was looking at our case and requested additional info.
And he is required to do something about that in 14 working days as per the rfe notice.

well I wouldnt worry as much as you seem to be
