2nd - FP Jan-2004

Called 1-800-375-5283 Customer service -> transfered to Immigration officer -> Immigration officer checked the status and said Adjudicated on Jan-14-2004 and said to keep patience.

Anyone in this situation. Please share. How long to Approve ?
 
What is your ND??

What is your ND? Feb 2001 or Feb 2002

If it is Feb 2001, it has been a long , long wait.. Check with your attorney as well...

If it is Feb 2002, I think you would need to wait since Dec 2001 NDs are yet to be approved...

Have you received the RFE yet?
 
FEB 2001? If so you are the oldest member on the forum. Your case MUST be approved at the soonest, have you contacted your Senator/Congressman?

I am more inclined to believe it is Feb 2002, since you mention just 2nd FP, in which case, you still have some 6 months to wait.

Doesn't this mean that his case has already been approved? :confused:

If he is Feb 2001 - I am really happy
if he is Feb 2002 - I am still very happy - but upset at the same time, since INS has gotten into the habit of processing cases out of chronological order, which just adds to the uncertainity.

Can understand why you would be angry if a Feb 2002 case got approved, but the situation is so bad now, that any approval is like mana from heaven. I definitely agree that the whole concept of FIFO (first in first out), has been lost, but this could be due to mutiple reasons, not the least being INS inefficiency. In this game of Russian Roulette that INS plays with our lives, I like to cheer all the winners! :)

But yeah adjudicated in Jan, does seem to imply that the case has been approved, if only the original poster came back and answered the various questions.

You are correct - it isn't the petitioner's fault that he/she got approved before others and I too would like to wish them all the best and cheer them on and hope that all of us too follow soon.
