can we trust JIT for the ajudicating time
hellen hu - 08:17pm Feb 19, 2002 EST

Just talked to IIO, they are processing 1/1/01 case, same as JIT, is it reliable? I saw the JIT for CSC at the following site:
http://www.sackskolken.com/visas/cscJITreport.html
it says for I-485, they are adjudicating 1/1/01 case, does that tell us that if our case is mar. RD, we have 2 months to go? or JIT does not mean anything?
thanks

Clarification

JIT report is an unofficial document. It just means that CSC has cleared most of the cases before 01.01.01.
If the IIO wants to play safe, he can just quote the JIt report and get away.
That is the reason we are having Pcee\'s site which provides us with a better trend.

Right now looks like CSC is focussing on May 2001 cases with some June 2001 cases thrown in. I think there are a bunch of officers who are doing older cases too.

thanks for the clarification, one more point added

I think you are right, and also, if people case has been pending longer than the JIT time frame, You may generate inquiry. right?

YOu are right.

To avoid too many inquiries CSC kept the JIT date on 01.01.98 for a long time, though they were processing 2001 cases.
Yes, you may do inquiry if case is older than 01.01.01

No Title

Hi, I guess you are right. My RD is 4/26/01.They should work on
old cases first though. I wonder how long it takes to get my I-485
approved.
