My RD is Sep 7th, 2001.
ND Nov 9th, 2001
FP Feb 13, 2002.
I got through aftrer trying for an half an hour and then about 10 minutes wait I could talk to IIO. The lady didn't seem very friendly by her voice but she seemed professional. I gave her EAC number and she asked me my name and the told me that a decision has not been made but it should be within two weeks.
So I asked her that means its in final stage of completion and she said yes.

I asked about my husband's case but she said she can not give this information but his should be the same as mine.

Hopefully it gets approved soon....
 
I called IIO three weeks ago (RD9/5/01) and my case was in final stage too. And answer was it will take upto 30-60 days for approval. I just hope that my approval comes before my finger print expires.

I mean it. I am here sitting with your
same RD but ND is 11/7/01 thinking
whether to call or not. So, we now know
that our 485 is in hell er... i mean with officers!
 
If you have time, I will suggest calling IIO. I was afraid that my file wasn't with officer yet. But looks like it is and although IIO said it is gonna be within two weeks ( she sounded pretty confident ) I will give it 3-4 weeks. ( I mean there is nothing I can do but probably will call IIO again after 1 month ... hopefully it does not come to that ..

September filers should call IIO to find out about their case in my opinion.
