I talked to an IIO today. My wac is wac-02070-xxxxxx.
Fingerprint done in Jan 2001.

IIO : hi my name is xxxxx.how can i help you.
Me : I have a case I want to check the status.
IIO : Do you have a receipt number.
Me : I Give the receipt number.
IIO : This is a 485 case.
Me : Yes.
IIO : Looks like your case has not been updated since Last Jan.
Me : Yes that is the reason I am calling.
IIO : These type of cases are taking 20 months.
Me : Can I get any more information on this. The information you
have given me is what I get from the Web site.Is there any
more information you can provide.
IIO : Sorry sir this is the only information I can provide.
Me : Ok.
IIO : Is there anything I can help you with.
Me : No thanks

Looks like 1800 number is a crap.Just sit tight and hope that they start working on your case.

Ok when I call .. they tell me 20 months, and then they say ur over that, so I'll send an enquiry (which is another bunch of bullshit anyway).

So far they've been saying, that expect a reply to your enquiry in 3-4 weeks, haven't heard zilch so far.

Well, the BCIS IIO cannot answer anything more than what is in your computer since they don't have the file on their table (thats a simple explanation)

Their job is to answer, what form to use, where to submit, what time the office open, what time its close, it still pending, be patient, another 20 months, sorry and bla bla bla.

So guys, nothing much we can do. There are thousands of files over there. Some of them not even can answer simple questions. They keep put you on hold asking their colleague what is the answer they should give. Don't think when they put you on hold they running to the file cabinet and get your file...in million years!

Have a nice day.
