Talked to IIO- examiner has not looked at my file after RFE recvd

Hi. I just got off the phone after talking to a VSC IIO. When I gave her my case number she told me that the examiner(that is what she said) sent for RFE on April 17 and INS recieved the response back on May 22, 2001. The examiner has not yet looked at my file after INS received the RFE and that the final decision has not yet been made. When I asked her how long it usually takes before the examiner looks at my case again and for a decision to be made, She asked me to call back If I do not recieve any response in 30-40 days. The IIO was pleasant enough..
My question is : How much time does it usually take for the examiner to look at the file before a decision is even made.

Thanks

Toss a coin 368 times. Divide the number of tails by number of heads. Add 23 to the result. Divide it by the ratio of random A over random B. The final result is the number of days after which a decision will be made.

Kidding aside, what I wanted to say is that not even INS themselves can predict the length in time that is going to take before your case is reviewed/approved. Varies from case to case. And there seem to be no pattern. If an IIO says 30-40 days, that is pure BS. They just do not have the ammunition to predict.

I have seen so many approvals for 1/00 to 4/00 ND\'s while there are tons of 11/99 and 12/99 folks dwindling their thumbs. I guess, there are even a tons of 10/99 unfortunates left as well. So, what can you say?

You can, however, check out the following post and try to make your own guess -
