Talked to IIO at NSC

Talked to an IIO after one hour of dialing.
She said my FP details were available in one computer system but not in the other system. Asked what should I do. Reply is to wait to hear from INS.

Did anyone\'s GC got delayed because of two computer systems at NSC? Please reply?
 
Hi,

This is what I know about two computer systems. When FBI sends FP information to INS, it goes to Computer System 2 which Can be tracked by your Alien number. There is computer system 1 where your information can be tracked by your LIN number(I assume that you are from Nebraska) For your application to be get approved, the your FP information should be trasferred from Computer System 2 to computer system 1, then only your application is ready for approval. I have read this info.at CIBA\'s web site, I remember it right.

I too called IIO today morning about my FP information. I gave her my LIN number. Then she put me on hold(There was music in phone system) & after 1 minute or so she came back & told me that every thing is OK.
Same thing about my wife too.

DID you give your LIN number or Alien Number?

Thank You for the info. I gave both LIN and alien number. She said that FBI sent the FP details. But it is there in probably computer system 2(now I understand). But she told me somebody has to update it from Computer System 2 to 1. I asked (from my side) what should I do.
She said , simply wait.

She said my case is pending because of unavailability of FP details only. I hope they synchronize both systems quickly.

Last week I talked to IIO and First She said your case is pending and then I asked how long it take..
then she put me on hold and said yes finger prints are ok..and your case is moving when I said can
you give me estimate time then she said the stearo type answer that your finger print is not on the system..
when I asked right now you told me that my finger prints are ok...then she said you have to wait upto
your finger print will be expired and then we will issue a new finger print notice and then it will come on the system..
when I said my finger print will be expired in mid of MAy\'02 she said yes you have to wait up to May\'02 ...
I said thank you very much ..Then I called FBI find out my information according to they send one form
to INS in which they certified that this person does not have any criminal history.....

After this I went to Senator office and Request regarding delay of my case and she called INS and then found the
exact information that My I-140 was processed at CSC and only they are waiting for verification no Finger print issue..//
Same Information given by Congressman .....

Moral of the Story is : If you are Lucky you will get it otherwise wait . But call once in week to IIO ask about the status
so that they can understand that our case is really dealyed and processed it..//
 
what Senator office is doing to do with INS process ?, using which no. you called IIO, please respon

It looks like now a days, even from senator office, every one is getting same answer. i.e waiting for I140.

Basically, I am waiting for FP (ND: 12/14/00; LIN-01-056). I called senator office. After two days
I got call from senator office saying "You application is pending, becauase of NSC is waiting for I-140
notice. Even though my request to senator was for "not receiving FP".

My I140 was approved for AOS (@ NSC). I have called NVC, they never receievd my I140 approval
notice that means my I140 is with NSC.

I fee the answer I got from senator is not correct!!!!!!

Then for what NSC is waiting for my case... I spoke to IIO, they said every thing is fine, but case is still pending...

But should\'nt your lawyer has 1 copy of I140?

Have to talked to your lawyer? He should have one original copy of the approved I140. Also tell senator that your I140 is for AOS & not CP & see what they say. Also talk to your local congressman.
