This is my first call to talk to IIO. Actually I was called AVM to check my status and pressed \'O\' to check whether IIO\'s are still available though I have NO intention to talk to them. To my surprise it said wait time is 5 min, but IIO came into line within few min. As I said I was not prepared to talk to IIO but managed to ask few questions. The IIO I was talked to is a very nice lady, she took my receipt# and said my case is still in \'pending\' NOT assigned to officer and not even in transit area.
She only verified few things told me that FP are OK and every thing is in order, I-140 was linked to I-485. Then I reminded her that my I-140 was approved for CP and Does that cause any delays? She said if I-140 approved for CP, INS service centers will request I-140 files as soon as we file AOS(I-485) and she confirmed me that they have my I-140 file. This may help other fellow waiters who are waiting for approval and worrying their I-140(approved for CP) causing any delays.
