Called IIO today to check the I-485 status after a long debate whether to call them or not.

Verified the address change and FBI finger print etc. Asked about my case status, he stereotyped that it will take up to 18 months to process a petition hence I have to wait for five more months. Little disappointed after hearing lot of approvals on the lines of my RD/ND.

Anyway, got to accept it and move on....

Don\'t rely on their answers and get disappointed. There have been more occasions on this board when IIO\'s were proved wrong than right.
Only few of them seem to be giving accurate answers while the rest of them always talk of the worst case scenario.
