My file has not been assigned to officer and they are working on August cases. File will be assigned to officer in next 2 months. sucks!!!!

My EAD is expiring in August 2nd week. When I asked her, she suggested me to file for an extension.
 
Can you post your coversation?

Did you ask IIO why your case is not even assigned to an officer?
If yes, what was his/her reply? Did he/she try to justify why your case is taking longer?

Yes I asked.

Asked if case is assigned, IIO told they are doing 01 Aug \'01 cases. When I mentioned mine is July RD, IIO said it is the ND that is referred.
