Talked to an IIO just a minute ago

Hi guys. I just talked to an II about me and my wife\'s I-485 status. She replied to me that my case was assigned to an officer on 6/27, but my wife\'s case was still pending (I took this expression as "not assigned to an officer") even though her fingerprint appears to be transferred to the other system on 6/25. (She just said that the INS received her finger print on that date, even though the FIB told us that they had sent our result to the INS back in April) Is this common? I\'d thought that the same officer would adjudicate the cases that belong to a primary applicant. Would someone please shed some light on this?

Anyway, here is my data:
WAC#: WAC-01-104-xxxxx
ID: 01/01
ND: 02/01
FL: 04/01

No Title

Usually, primary and dependent\'s cases are bound
together (although adjudicated separately). But
there is no guarantee. There have been cases
where dependent\'s cases are approved several
months after primary\'s, or the other way around.
