I have talked to IIO.
Boy, she is discourteous and very rude in giving answers.
The conversation goes like this
Me: Good afternoon madam. I have applied I-485 and just wanted to check the status.
IIO: What\'s your case number?(so careless in her voice)
Me: EAC-99-271-XXXX
IIO:The case is pending.
Me: Any idea Madam how long it is going to take for approval.
IIO: No idea. We can not tell anything now.
Me: Can I expect in another couple of months.
IIO: I don\'t know. We are processing August cases now.
Me: I have completed FP in August and is everything fine with that?
IIO: What should I do? If we want again we will send a notice to you.
Me: I have changed my Address Madam. My attorney already sent a change of address info.
to INS and I just want to make sure that It has been updated in your records.
IIO: I see two address changes in last two weeks. Anyway, What is your current address?
Me: It is so and so.....
IIO: That\'s what we have.
Me: Thankyou verymuch Madam and hung up.
I don\'t know what she meant by two address changes? I have changed only one address.
My details: PD:08/98, RD:09/01/99, ND:09/21/99, FP:08/30/00, EB2-INDIA.
